2. You know what riggies are and who makes the best
3. You know greens aren't just on golf courses
4. You can name a store that was there before the fort stanwix.
5. You've had a slice of tomato pie
6. You've paid the highest taxes
7. You've seen the Honor America days in Rome
8. You've eaten a turkey joint
9. You remember the Bargain Center in Rome.

10. You know when the sun shines in the winter it changes your whole day.
11. You wear shorts and a t-shirt one day and you're shoveling snow the next.
12. You know the Paul Revere sign .
13. You can count 5 jails, 16 banks, and 21 dollar stores in a 1/2 hour ride
14. You know Ferlos Bakery
15. You look forward to the Utica Rome speedway races
16. You've been to St. John’s festival.
17. You're wearing a coat at 8am and shorts at 3pm
18. You went to the Rome drive-in.
19. You remember Columbus school.
20. You went to the one day in June when GAFB was open to the public for commander’s day.
21. You remember the Pie Stand
22. You enjoy salt potatoes
23. You ate at the ponderosa.
24. You're broke
25. You've seen the inside of a Utica or Rome cop car a time or three

27. You go to an awesome hockey game at the "Aud"
28. You don't bother to remove the snow brush from your car

130. My Dad owned the Town Restaurant (that was torn down during urban renewal for the construction of the fort).   I remember sitting on the roof to watch a parade.
131. My Dad also owned The Fort Stanwix Lounge on East Dominick Street. 
132. If I recall, I believe the Franklin Hotel was also on Dominick Street and also torn down during urban renewal.

134. On the way to the football games you stopped at LaGatta’s liquor store to buy Ripple for 50 cents.
135. You rode or drove in a procession to throw the UFA dummy into the Mohawk River next to Savoy. They were our football rival and we got time off from school to proceed to the river.
136. You attended Staley dances and danced all night which were always the social event of the week.
137. You sat in Mr. Perry’s class with gum on your nose if he caught you chewing gum.

168. Several noon-time bomb scares in 1965 resulting in Staley Jr. High school's student and teacher evacuation which eventually led to the arrest and expulsion of student  Jerry Miller who lived 2 doors away from me in Acchino's Trailer Park.

171. Wow. Can’t believe someone remembered our 45 record. It was a great time hearing the record on the radio and in Jukeboxes (there’s another memory). Besides myself on sax, other class members were Vinnie Esposito and Tim Ischia. Walt Stromick, Steve DiBella,Bruce Mcllvenna & Ron Lillard were the other members.  We recorded at Dells Music in Utica Nov. 1969 under Crosstown records. The bands name was Crosstown Traffic. To avoid any conflict with Crosstown Records we changed the bands name to Yesterday’s Papers for the record. We recorded Celebrate by Three Dog Night for the flip side. Now you know the rest of the story.
