Deborah Burkhart

  February 5, 1952 - November 29, 2021

Deborah Burkhart of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, died November 29, 2021, at the age of 69 after a brief illness. Deborah was raised in Rome, NY and graduated from Rome Free Academy in 1970. Deborah lived most of her life in Calgary. She was very passionate and knowledgeable in the health and fitness industry - owned and managed four vitamin stores and was a yoga instructor. Deborah was also a talented artist and was enjoying creating beautiful furniture pieces for her customers. Deborah was predeceased by her parents, Donald and Charlotte Burkhart, and a daughter, Maren Burkhart. She is survived by her daughter, Merilee Brockway, and Merilee’s husband, Travis Bonertz; grandsons, Brock, Quinn and Drake; sisters, Barbara Burkhart, Cindy Linck; and various nieces, nephews, and cousins.
