William
F. Stangel, Sr., 69, passed away on November
30, 2019 while riding his motorcycle, which
was his life passion. Born in Milwaukee, WI
on April 3, 1950, he was the son of the late
Raymond and Alice (Kobriger) Stangel.
William served in the U.S. Army. William
retired from the City of Rome Central
Maintenance Department. Upon his retirement,
he relocated to Zephyrhills, FL where he
enjoyed riding his motorcycle with the
numerous friends he made.
He is survived by his sons, William F.
Stangel, Jr. (his wife, Angela Stangel) and
Christopher M. Stangel; granddaughter
Mackenzie Stangel; and his brothers Andy,
Chuck and Dan.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Gilley’s
Family Cremation, Winter Haven, FL and a
Celebration of William’s life will be held
at a future date to be announced.
