Melody A. Waterman, 68, of Verona, passed
away on Saturday, May 15, 2021, at the
home of her favorite cousin, Debbie
McAloon, after a courageous battle with
ovarian cancer. She was born in Rome on
July 14, 1952, a daughter of the late
Richard and Helen (Dwyer) Clemons.
She was a 1970 graduate of
Rome Free Academy.
Melody managed the Verona
Mobile Park and previously worked 30 years
for the CNYDSO. She had a lifelong desire
to work for Weight Watchers and she was so
happy to be able to do so for the last
four years. She was a member of St.
Peter’s Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her
beloved pets, Toby, Tucker, Mittens and
Annie; and several cousins, neighbors and
friends.
Melody’s family would like
to thank all of her neighbors and friends
who stepped to care for Melody and her
animals during her illness. God bless you

A celebration of her life
will be held at her home, 12 Kelly Ave.,
Verona, on Saturday, May 22, at 4 p.m.
Please bring a lawn chair and a memory.
