Mary
K and her sister Helen Ann and I
grew up together on Cottage Street.
We had many good times playing
together as kids. Our families were
the best and I will always remember
her Mom and Dad and Grandparents.
Mary K was always kind and warm
hearted. I still have old photos of
myself, Mary K and Helen Ann with my
dog Trixie on Cottage Street. It was
a blessing we grew up when we did in
Rome NY. The 1950s was another world
compared to today. Just great family
and friends that worked hard and
loved their families. We all felt
the warmth and security that is
beyond words. As we get older it
seems that when we reflect on all
those that have gone on before us,
we at least have the hope that we
will all be together again. As we
struggle at times in this world our
wonderful memories help to sustain
us and bring a smile to our face. I
hope someday in another world we
will be sharing laughs, hugs, food
and good times beyond anything we
can imagine. Until we meet again
Mary K keep an eye on all of us and
say hello to our family and friends
in Heaven and put in a good word for
us. Thank you for being my friend.
I'll always will remember our good
times and adventures growing up on
Cottage Street.
