Frank J. Paine, age
72, of Lee Center, passed away
unexpectedly at home on October 2,
2024.
Frank was born in Rome on May 31,
1952 to the late Cletus and Agnes
Parsons Paine, and graduated from
RFA in 1970. He was self-employed
doing what he loved: restoring
vintage cars. When he wasn’t
breathing new life into Chevvies
and Camaros, he was creating
things from wood.
Frank lit up a room as soon as he
walked in. His
larger-than-life personality and
big laugh were magnetic. His story
telling had us in stitches with
gestures and impressions that only
he could do justice to. He was
always ready with a joke or witty
comeback, and he had a nickname
for everyone, the most
common being "Youngblood." The
first to the dance floor and the
last to leave, Frank was out
there, living for the moment. His
moves were goofy, but he owned
every step, and his karaoke skills
were unparalleled! Frank knew how
to celebrate life and leaves
memories that remind us to do the
same.
Frank is survived by the love of
his life for the past 28 years,
Claudia Decker of Lee Center;
daughters, Wendy (Jeff) Ginther of
TX, and Crystal Breen of VA; son,
Steven Paine of VA; step-daughter,
Allisha (Duke) Patnode; step-son,
Aaron France; six grandchildren;
one great grandchild; three
sisters, Loretta Fanelli of
Sauquoit, Gale Meunier of OK, and
Kaye (Tom) O'Brien of Lee Center;
brothers, Douglas Paine and John
Paine both of Lee Center; and
several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held
