Dennis J. Parks, of
Tamarac FL, passed away on October
16, 2011 from complications of lung
surgery. Born November 24, 1952 in
Rome, NY, he was the son of the late
Frank and Rachel Petrelli Parks.
Dennis graduated from Rome Free
Academy in 1970. Dennis was a Bank
Officer for HSBC, formerly Marine
Midland Bank, before his retirement
in 1991.
He is survived by his
four brothers, Anthony E. and Mary
Parks, Pawleys Island, SC; Arthur G.
Parks, Cathedral City, CA; John G.
and Rosa Parks, Lakewood, CA; and
Frank A. and Debby Parks,
Bakersfield, CA. Several nephews and
nieces and their spouses and
children. Also surviving is his
special friend, Jason Weller.
There will be no

Dennis Parks was one if the
nicest people I have ever known. We were
in homeroom together at Strough. Always
had something good to say about anyone.

Dennis was a great guy and I
still remember having some great times
with him especially when my parents went
to Vegas and we went to Detroit with
Anthony DelPico and Pete St.
Thomas. I will miss Dennis
a lot, he was a special person.
