She loved me more
than anyone on this earth ever will. She
felt deeply, loved deeply, and was a strong
woman. She had many strong opinions and used
her voice to share them. The last couple of
months were especially hard. I got to tell
my mom I loved her twice this morning, and I
heard it this time, when she told me the
same. She left us today, despite putting up
a strong fight. 2/2/52 - 5/11/20. I love
you, Mom, and I hope you’re at peace next to
Dad. - Diana Lynne
I am also deeply saddened by the news
of Debbie's passing. I sat with
her and talked for awhile at the Get
Together the night before our reunion
and saw her the night of the
reunion. She still had
that beautiful long hair and was very
interesting to talk to about our
lives. Heaven has a new
angel. Rest well, Debbie!
Love, Pat Covelesky
Very sad news about
Debbie. We had lots of
laughs at the past couple
reunions. Please stay safe
everyone, and let’s keep Debbie and
her family in our prayers. - Julian

I'm shocked and saddened. I was
looking forward to seeing her this
summer. I wondered why she didn't
email. We reconnected several years
ago and had some good memories from
Harvey Alter and how we use to have
our snacks with the old milk bottles
they delivered at school.
I found one in an antique shop in
Georgia from the actual milk company
in Rome. I was going to surprise
her with it this summer. Somehow
I have to find a way. Safe travels
Debbie and I hope we get to spend time
together in a better place. Be at
rest. Thank you for being a friend and
there kindness freely given. - Mike
Amato
She and I have become good remote
buddies in the last few years. She
also attended my Rome Science Hall of
Fame lecture several years ago. I’m
really saddened by this one. - Phil
Domenico
I am sincerely heartbroken to hear the
news of Debbie's passing. It was
so great to reconnect over the years
and enjoy her conversations when “the
group” had our monthly dinners.
She will be truly missed… - Deb
Pugliese
I just sent a card to her in the
nursing facility a few days ago! When
I messaged her daughter she wrote back
to me that she had a long recovery so
to send cards to the nursing home. I’m
so saddened to see this. - Mary
Strange
Oh no. This is so sad.
This is breaking my heart.
Another one of us gone. This is
just so sad. She was such a nice
person in high school. I
remember her well and at our
reunion. - Saneen Cochran
I’m blown away. I was just thinking of
her because I hadn’t seen her on FB in
quite awhile. This is so sad, what a
wonderful person. - Rick Nasci
This was very shocking to hear. I
still picture Deb as that young blonde
girl with the long hair who was dating
David Lince! So hard to believe. -
Debbie Nash
That's sad to hear. We sat together for
breakfast at the 40th.- Steve Miroy
So sad to hear this!! Such a kind lady.
- Susan Spadafora
We spoke at the reunions and
occasionally on the phone if or when she
had problems with her computer. It was
always a pleasure to help when I could.
I know she was truly looking forward to
the upcoming 50-year reunion. Debbie,
you continue to be loved by many! -
Dennis Parrish
