Candace L. “Candy”
Jones, 68, of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday,
September 22, 2020, at home with her family
by her side after a long illness.
Born in Rome, NY, she was predeceased by her
parents, Jean and Richard Davies, and
brothers, Gary and Rick Jones. Candy is
survived by her lifetime friend, Mary
Rosser; sister-in-law, Anne Healy Jones;
nieces and nephews, Allison Jones (Toler),
Garrett Jones, Ryan Jones, Danny Jones, and
Kally Jones, each of their spouses; as well
as many grand-nieces and nephews. Lastly,
she is survived by friends from near and
far.
Candy loved traveling, photography,
antiquing, and animals, particularly horses
and dogs. Most of all, she loved being in
the company of family and friends and
bringing joy to others. Her infamous “thank
you” was a lottery ticket to many whom she
would cross paths with.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday,
September 26, 2020 from 1-3 p.m.,
immediately followed by a funeral service at
3 p.m. at Thomas J. Pirro Funeral Home, 3401
Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North
Syracuse, NY. Words of comfort may be

celebration of life will be scheduled for
2021.

Another
sad passing. Candy was in my ft stanwix
class . We started out in kindergarten.
I did have lunch with her last December
at delta inn, so I am happy for that. -
